FWIW, we think the only good reason to buy this part is if you need the smallest portion of the tray that sticks out the furthest. This piece can be replaced without removing the entire tray from the printer. (Though it's still a bit tricky to do it without causing more damage.) If you need the center piece of the tray it's much easier to simply buy the entire tray because the center portion only comes apart after the entire tray has been removed from the printer. The entire tray is ref# 709.
